Internship in Turnhout, Belgium (Erasmus+)
Supporting the development of digital applications in the Humanities
Brepols Publishers welcomes students (or recently graduated students) from the faculty of Humanities, Arts, Language & Literature. Our digital humanities internships are a unique opportunity for anyone who is passionate about developing their knowledge and skills using digital methods, practical skills and research to gain experience and obtain a stronger position on the job market. Students or recently graduated will have a front-row seat in the development of our renowned digital applications. They will closely work with our team of bibliographic editors to check metadata and assess the quality of our data extraction software.
Duration: 4 to 12 months
Qualifications: a background in Philology, History, Philosophy, Languages and Literature, or other relevant fields in the (digital) Humanities.
Language skills: very good command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
Knowledge and experience: familiarity with academic citation styles.
Personal attributes:
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Effective teamwork
- -Editorial experience or proofreading skills are considered advantageous

The internship is at our Turnhout office in Belgium. Brepols provides free accommodation in student room rentals.
