We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming French Language Learning Staff Week, which will take place from June 16th to June 20th, 2024, at Université Montpellier Paul Valéry, in the beautiful city of Montpellier, South of France.
This immersive week offers:
- French language learning sessions, tailored to different proficiency levels (beginner and intermediate).
- A cultural trip.
- The possibility to meet university staff and exchange about your profession. (The IRO team will organize meetings with participants’ counterparts at our university as far as possible)
Practical Details
The fee for participation is 400 euros* per person. This includes:
- 20 hours of French class
- One special dinner in the historic city center of Montpellier.
- 10 public transportation tickets for the city.
- A cultural trip including a meal and accompanying activities.
*Subject to final approval by the University Governing Board, this fee is expected to be confirmed without significant changes.
We will send the enrolling information and details for the payment soon.
Please note that accommodation is not included in the participation fee, participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses through the Erasmus funds for staff mobility. You can find some accommodation recommendation through these links:

This Staff Week is a fantastic opportunity to improve your French skills, network with colleagues from across Europe, and experience the rich cultural heritage of the South of France.
