What emerges from the fusion of egg, wax and dye? - A traditional Polish Easter egg and an unforgettable Erasmus experience!
On Friday, a group of Erasmus+ students, accompanied by the representatives of AMU's Eramsus+ Central Office, embarked on a fascinating journey to the National Museum of Agriculture in Szreniawa to explore the charm of Polish and Greater Poland Easter traditions.
The visit featured a captivating presentation on the significance of the Easter holidays in Poland and their connection to the dawn of spring. The highlight of the day was a hands-on workshop in traditional wax egg painting, led by a skilled folk artist, who guided participants in creating their colourful eggs.
No countryside excursion would be completed without an insight into rural life. Thanks to the kindness of our guide, the students visited a nearby historical palace, glimpsed into a turn-of-the-century country house and experienced a close meeting with rural animals - goats, hens, horses, cows, bulls and rabbits.
The weather was as bright as our smiles.
Thank you all for the wonderful time spent together, and see you soon again.
