Department of Logic and Cognitive Science, AMU (Research Assistant Position)

This internship offers a unique opportunity to engage in various projects at the intersection of psychophysics, cognitive science, psychology, and nutrition science exploring:

  • Auditory perception and psychophysics: understanding how we perceive and process information from various sensory modalities, such as hearing, vision and exploring their roles in everyday life and cognitive functioning.
  • Tinnitus studies: exploring the mechanisms of tinnitus and its impact on mental health and quality of life.
  • Diet, gut microbiome, and cognition: studying how diet and the microbiome influence cognitive abilities and mental health, including the role of bacterial metabolites in brain functioning.

Duration and Commitment

  • Flexible Duration: 3-12 months, tailored to your availability and goals.
  • Work Hours: 10-20 hours per week

Hybrid Work Model:

At least 1/4 of the total time will be spent working on-site in the lab at the Faculty of Psychology and Cognitive Science, while the remaining time can be completed remotely.
